Who Requires a Business Visa?
A business visa is intended for travellers visiting Russia on official or private business. It is ideal for those who are unsure of their exact itinerary, wish to stay in Russia for more than 30 days, or need to enter the country multiple times within a specified period. Additionally, a business visa is recommended for individuals bringing special equipment or marketing materials for exhibitions and forums. It is also advisable for all official speakers at conferences to obtain a business visa.
Business visas to the Russian Federation can be issued with up to two entries, and for a maximum of 90 days. There are also multiple-entry business visas, valid for 6 or 12 months, allowing unlimited entries and exits.
Documents Required for a Business Visa
1. Original Passport (must be valid for at least 6 months beyond planned exit date and have 2 blank pages).
2. Application form (available online at step 5 of the online order on this page).
3. 1 passport-style photograph: One recent photo (taken within the last 6 months) must be glued to the application form. Important: Ensure the photo is no more than 6 months old.
4. Russian National Tourist Office Booking Form (available online at step 5 of this order process).
5. Business visa support documents (provided by us)*
6. Supporting (employment) letter from your company in the UK confirming name and address of the inviting company in Russia, the purpose of visit, dates of the first trip, name of a person meeting you in Russia and financial responsibilities.
7. Applicable fee: payment for the visa processing
8. Applicants who are self-employed, company directors working from home, or unemployed must provide bank statements from the last three months showing a current minimum balance of £100 per day for the duration of the visit. Note: online banking printouts must be certified and stamped by your bank.

* Important: the business visa invitation must be requested in advance.
The business visa application must include an INVITATION from the Ministry of Interior.
Please note that we can apply for the invitation-only 90 days before the visa start date.
